Specification

Applications and buyers
Powder millers, industrial grinders, and manufacturers blending their own cocoa solids profile. Bakery and confectionery plants that rework cake into proprietary mixes. Choose finished natural or alkalized powder if you do not operate a mill.

Frequently asked questions
Ordering, samples, shipping, and payment, answered by our export desk.
What minimum volume applies to natural cocoa press cake?
5 MT minimum in 25 kg kraft bags or bulk bags, with two to three week lead time from confirmation. Ships FOB, CFR, or CIF with ISO 22000, HACCP, and Halal (BPJPH) documentation matching the processing facility.
What fat and moisture limits define this natural cocoa cake?
Residual fat is 10 to 12%, moisture at or below 5%, pH 5.0 to 5.8 in the natural state, light to medium brown colour. Each lot ships with a certificate of analysis. Alkalized cake is not our standard offering; say so at enquiry if required.
When should I buy cake instead of finished cocoa powder?
Buy cake when you mill in house or blend your own powder profile and want Indonesian cocoa solids without paying for a finished grind. Choose our natural or alkalized powder grades if you do not operate a mill.
How should cocoa cake be stored to prevent caking in transit?
Store sealed, dry, and away from aromatic stock because cake absorbs moisture and odours readily. Moisture above specification causes hard lumps in the bag; keep pallets off the floor and rotate stock promptly after opening.
