Dual-certified Organic and Fairtrade fermented Sulawesi beans for branded couverture and single-origin bars.

  • Cut-tested to ≥85% fermentation
  • 13 MT container minimum, wholesale only

Product overview

Fermented South Sulawesi beans from cooperatives on Organic and Fairtrade programmes, cut-tested to house Grade A / SNI size class A standards. Sold as wholesale container lots for brand owners who need both certificates on one purchase order without splitting origin or fermentation profile across suppliers.

Certification and cut-test

Certificate scope and crop year are confirmed on the sales contract. Physically the lot still meets our Grade A thresholds: bean count ≤100 / 100 g (SNI size class A), moisture ≤7.5%, fermentation ≥85%, fat ≥52%, with mouldy, slaty, and insect-damaged limits published on the specification sheet.

Applications and buyers

Branded bean-to-bar and couverture lines that print Organic and Fairtrade claims, and grinders supplying certified liquor or powder. Not a spot-market grade: allotments follow cooperative harvest windows, so reserve ahead of your production schedule.

Packing, MOQ and shipping

Packed in new 60 kg jute bags, 13 MT per 20 ft container. Lead time 3–5 weeks. Shipped FOB, CFR, or CIF from Makassar with Organic, Fairtrade, Halal (BPJPH), and ISO 22000 documentation matched to the lot.

Frequently asked questions

Ordering, samples, shipping, and payment, answered by our export desk.

What is the MOQ for Organic Fairtrade Sulawesi fermented beans?

Wholesale minimum is one 20 ft container, about 13 MT, in new 60 kg jute bags. Certified volume is allocated by cooperative and crop, so lead time runs three to five weeks. We confirm certificate scope and crop year on the sales contract before you approve a sample.

Do Organic and Fairtrade certificates cover the same physical lot?

Yes. Partner cooperatives run both schemes on the same parcels, so one container can carry Organic and Fairtrade documentation without splitting origin or fermentation profile across suppliers. Halal (BPJPH) and ISO 22000 documents match the lot reference on the packing list.

Who typically buys dual-certified Sulawesi fermented beans?

Branded bean-to-bar and couverture lines that print Organic and Fairtrade claims, and grinders supplying certified liquor or powder downstream. The cup profile matches our standard Sulawesi fermented Grade A: chocolate-forward with mild acidity at at least 85% cut-test fermentation.

What quality limits apply beyond the Organic and Fairtrade labels?

Physically the lot still meets house Grade A thresholds: bean count at or below 100 per 100 g (SNI size class A), moisture at or below 7.5%, fermentation at or above 85%, fat at or above 52%, with published mouldy, slaty, and insect-damaged limits on the specification sheet.
