Wholesale programmes

Indonesian cocoa export services for wholesale buyers

Custom fermentation, OEM private-label packing, application-specific grades, and the lot-level documentation EU and industrial buyers file with every container.

Catalogue SKUs cover standard orders. These programmes are for procurement teams that need a named fermentation protocol, bag marks under their brand, a grade framed by the plant application, or an EUDR-ready document pack before the vessel sails. Everything below is wholesale: container or multi-tonne minimums, written confirmations, and records tied to the export lot.

Programmes you can book

Custom cocoa fermentation programmes

Box-fermentation run to your written protocol on a named cooperative harvest, for couverture and single-origin buyers who need a cut-test target our standard Indonesian grades do not hit.

  • Agreed day count, turning schedule, target cut-test percentage, and drying moisture before the harvest is booked.
  • Minimum one 20 ft container (about 13 MT). Wholesale only; no single-bag or micro-lot programmes.
  • A trial container is available before a multi-container season contract.
  • Fermentation logs and cut-test photos ship with the lot and are retained against the contract reference.

Application-specific cocoa grades

The same Indonesian cocoa, published the way processors buy: bean-to-bar and couverture, pressing and industrial, bakery and confectionery.

  • Dedicated collection pages for bean-to-bar, pressing, and bakery grades with specs tied to the use case.
  • Product names lead with the application (couverture, pressing, bakery, beverage) so procurement files stay clear.
  • Application-matched samples with cut-test or COA data before the first wholesale order.

OEM and private-label cocoa packing

Buyer bag marks, custom stencilling, and packing-list formats for recurring wholesale cocoa contracts from Indonesia.

  • Jute and kraft stencil marks, language variants, and lot-code formats confirmed at proforma stage.
  • Available on standing wholesale contracts at our standard MOQs, not as a sample-bag service.
  • Packing lists can carry your marks; commercial invoice entity is agreed in the contract.
  • Send print-ready artwork and barcode rules with the quote request so we can clear them before vessel cut-off.

Cocoa sampling and laboratory COAs

Pre-shipment samples, cut-test photos, and ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory certificates for inbound QC on Indonesian cocoa lots.

  • 500 g to 2 kg samples of current lots, costs credited against the first order.
  • Third-party lab COAs for moisture, bean count, cut-test appearance, and microbiology when your inbound QC requires them.
  • SGS or equivalent pre-shipment inspection at the loading port, quoted separately.

  • Lot-linked producer or cooperative identity and plot-location fields in the format your EU compliance team specifies.

How buyers use these programmes

Who should book a custom fermentation programme?

Book a custom programme when your couverture or single-origin brief needs a cut-test band, day count, or drying moisture our catalogue Grade A lots do not publish. We write the protocol before the cooperative harvest is reserved, run box fermentation against that protocol, and ship fermentation logs with the container. The floor is one 20 ft FCL (about 13 MT). If a standard Sulawesi, Sumatra, or Papua fermented lot already matches your roast profile, buy the catalogue grade instead and keep the shorter lead time.

How does OEM private-label packing work for cocoa beans?

On a standing wholesale contract we stencil your bag marks, lot codes, and language variants onto jute or kraft packing, and we can format the packing list to your receiving system. The commercial invoice entity stays with us unless the contract says otherwise. Artwork and barcode rules must clear before the vessel cut-off. OEM packing does not change MOQs: fermented beans stay at 13 MT, unfermented beans and cake from 5 MT, and processed ingredients at their published floors. Send artwork with the quote request so feasibility is confirmed before you approve the proforma.

What documents ship with every Indonesian cocoa container?

Every container leaves with a phytosanitary certificate, fumigation certificate, certificate of origin, commercial invoice, packing list, and loading photos. On request we add Organic, Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, Halal, ISO 22000 scope documents, third-party inspection, and EUDR-oriented producer or plot fields in the format your compliance team specifies. Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 applies to cocoa from 30 December 2026, so EU-bound programmes should lock the document checklist at enquiry stage, not at stuffing.

How do application-specific grades differ from catalogue SKUs?

Application grades are the same physical lots, organised by the job your plant runs. Bean-to-bar and couverture pages gather fermented Grade A beans, including Organic and Fairtrade options. Pressing pages gather unfermented beans and cocoa cake. Bakery and confectionery pages gather nibs, liquor, butter, cake, and powders. Specs stay measurable (fermentation, fat, pH, fineness); the landing pages and product names lead with the application so your procurement file matches how the cocoa is used.

Services FAQ

Custom fermentation, OEM packing, minimum orders, certifications, and shipping, answered for wholesale buyers.

How does a custom cocoa fermentation programme work for wholesale buyers?

We box-ferment against your written protocol (day count, turning schedule, target cut-test percentage, drying moisture) on a named cooperative harvest. Fermentation logs and cut-test photos ship with the lot and are retained against the contract reference. Minimum is one 20 ft container (about 13 MT). A trial container is available before a multi-container season contract.

Can you stencil buyer marks and private-label bag codes on jute packing?

Yes, on recurring wholesale contracts. We stencil buyer marks, custom lot codes, and language variants onto jute or kraft packing and can format packing lists to your receiving system. Artwork and barcode rules must clear before vessel cut-off. OEM packing does not change MOQs: fermented beans stay at 13 MT and processed ingredients at their published floors.

What minimum volumes apply to wholesale cocoa programmes on the services page?

Custom fermentation and standard fermented beans require one 20 ft FCL (about 13 MT). Unfermented beans and cocoa cake programmes accept partial loads from 5 MT for qualified buyers. Nibs programmes start at 1 MT; liquor and butter at 5 MT; powder at 3 MT. These are wholesale floors, not sample-bag or micro-lot supply.

Which certification documents can wholesale programmes attach to a container?

We match Organic, Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, Halal (BPJPH), and ISO 22000 scope documents to the physical lot on the packing list. Certificate validity dates and crop year are confirmed on the sales contract before booking. Dual-certified Organic and Fairtrade lots keep both certificates on the same parcels without substituting conventional stock.

How do dry-container logistics programmes ship beans from Makassar?

Beans travel in ventilated or kraft-lined dry containers with desiccant, never refrigerated, per CMAA/FCC dry-container practice. We quote FOB, CFR, or CIF from Makassar and Surabaya, with Belawan available for Sumatran lots when schedules fit. Partial loads from 5 MT on unfermented grades and cake are available for qualified first-time wholesale buyers.

Can wholesale programmes include third-party inspection and laboratory COAs?

Yes. SGS or equivalent pre-shipment inspection at the loading port is quoted separately and agreed before booking. ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory certificates cover moisture, bean count, cut-test appearance, and microbiology when your inbound QC requires them. Pre-shipment samples with cut-test photos are standard on bean programmes before the first container.
